Just in time for Thanksgiving in your dollhouse, this week I posted kitchen appliances for sale on MiniEtchers.com in both half-inch (1:24) and quarter-inch (1:48) scales! I have refrigerators (standard and deluxe), stove, microwave oven, and a dishwasher! The deluxe is the type with the freezer on the bottom which is a new one for MiniEtchers. The doors of these appliances can be displayed open and I have to brag about the stove grates. They are laser precision at its finest.

"Kitchens" have been my number 1 request from MiniEtchers customers. I now have appliances, bar stools, and Hoosier cabinets released. New this month are Hoosier cabinets with or without the NAME logo. Terri Correll and I created a new 1/2" scale Cozy Kitchen Alcove vignette in a paper mâché box and that kit is on the website now too (photo below). More kitchen cabinets are coming next: I'm starting with Shaker style and arch-top style so look forward to those soon.

I've tried something new with the 1:24 appliance kits. I cut them from 1/16" MDF wood. This is a smooth composite wood and I thought you might like the way it doesn't show wood grain on the appliances. Let me know how you feel about that choice! MDF doesn't come in 1/32" so the 1/4" scales appliances are still cut from maple like the rest of my kits.

NAME recorded my Hoosier cabinet class in September and that video is now on their Create website Lunch and Learn with Karen Crawford. I demonstrated how to build a 1/4" scale cabinet and also highlighted some key differences in the 1/2" scale and 1" scale versions. The free video class is packed with lots of tips and tricks for building MiniEtchers kits. Lastly, I have a new handle for my YouTube assembly videos: youtube.com/@minietchers .
